History

The Airtrust story is one of success and continual expansion. The Airtrust Group of Companies traces its genesis to 1972 when Airtrust (Singapore) Pte Ltd was incorporated as an air carrier of freight and passengers for the oil and gas industry in Indonesia. Since the beginning, our founding Chairman the late Mr. Peter Fong provided strong leadership and management direction in charting the Group’s expansion. His vision, passion and dedication continue to inspire management and staff to embrace new challenges.

Roots in aviation

In 1972, Our Group began aviation activities. We also assisted China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation (CATIC) to market CAA and FAA certified aircraft, designed and manufactured in China, oversea. One such was the Y-12, a multi-purpose aircraft that can operate in adverse weather.
